Heating Systems
Radiant Heaters
Radiant heaters use the same method of heating objects as the sun – infra-red energy, which is converted into heat when it is absorbed by objects, rather than the heating the air between them. This results in effective performance.
Because the energy is only turned into heat as it comes into contact with solid objects, this heating technology can be used either indoors where building insulation would normally be a problem, or outdoors where localised people heating is desired. In this instance the heat provided is highly efficient as very little is lost into the atmosphere, unlike other methods of heating.
By only heating chosen areas, capital costs can be reduced with fewer heaters when compared with other systems. There’s also no need for expensive pre-heating, these heaters give heat instantly, cutting the cost of heating intermittently used areas. With no moving parts, the Dimplex heaters are silent when operating, making them perfect where noise would otherwise be a problem.
Ceiling Mounted Heating System
Suspended warm air heating systems provide efficient and cost effective heating solutions for industrial and commercial properties. A comprehensive range of control and modular duct components ensures total system flexibility in terms of applications offering heating only and ventilation only.
Where space is at a premium, unit heaters come into their own. Suspended from the roof or on a wall, unit heaters are always equipped with horizontal louvres to help push the warm air to ground level. Vertical louvres help spread warm air throughout the building by giving side to side movement.
They are highly efficient and take up very little usable space, making them well-suited for industrial buildings.
Floor Standing Heating Systems
Cabinet heaters are indirect gas or oil fired air heaters. Positioned on the floor with larger outputs than their unit heater counterparts, these are quick and effective way of heating a factory. These units can be specified for either free blowing or ducted operations and therefore offer complete flexibility of installation.
Cabinet heaters are suitable for production halls, workshops, warehouses, greenhouses and other industrial or commercial premises. Heaters can be supplied in either upright or horizontal configuration and can be installed directly into the space to be heated.
They are also highly efficient at heating industrial buildings as they have a large output that can heat a greater area with a single unit.
